Crochet, Lace & Pearls

Crochet, lace and pearls… an impeccable royal combination πŸ™‚

I was taught the intricate art of crochet by none other than my Mom and this art helped me come out of my depression while looking for job in Canada and a wonderful outcome: beautiful crochet scarves πŸ™‚

I made quite a few but like everyone else I have my favorites too. These scarves not only cast exquisiteness to the look but also keep you warm. An ideal start to fall season πŸ™‚

I made this beautiful flower shawl using white yarn. The pattern is available online on Red Heart website for free. I could not find the same yarn mentioned here in Michaels so I picked the one I liked and that is probably the reason for the size difference but still I feel it is pretty πŸ™‚

I am wearing a navy laced dressed gifted by my very good friend that she ordered online on CamilaCardi , available in different colors and currently on sale for $38.81. I love this dress not only because it is in my favorite color, shades of blue, but also for the reason that lace makes me feel royal and delicate at the same time πŸ™‚

I paired my chic dress and flowery scarf with pearls to add to the royal touch πŸ˜‰ . I am in love with this beautiful string of fresh water pearls for $34.99 bought from Winners that can be styled with any attire for an added oomph! I wore old navy blue boots as its already fall but nude or white pumps would go best with this dress.

Another crochet scarf that I love is this beautiful cowl one. Unfortunately, a free pattern isn’t available. I figured it out only by looking at the picture that I found on Google πŸ™‚ . I used a brooch that I recently bought from Obsessions Fashion for $14 to hold the scarf in one place, perfectly blends in with the look πŸ™‚
